According to foreign media reports, the city of Bend in Oregon will begin to replace more than 2,000 existing public street lights with 3000K color temperature LED lamps, which aims to reduce energy costs, maintenance costs and greenhouse gas emissions.

The LED retrofit project is scheduled to continue until December. The renovation will take place on weekdays and may include weekends, usually from 7 am to 7 pm.

Officials said that a number of staff members are rushing to work, completing about 30 to 40 street lights every day. Each street lamp takes 20 to 30 minutes.
